Heavy Plane.
Ok well I am now safe and sound back in the twin cities, although a big part of me wishes that I weren't. I had so much more fun than I had imagined I would, enough to the point where it wouldn't be hard to see myself living there. I met lots of fun new people (one person being particularly AWESOME), and explored throughout the city. Now that I am home, the whole trip seemed really short, too short in fact. Brooklyn girl took me all over the city, showing me the sights, I think the Statue of Liberty was pointed out to me about a dozen times. I was a little bummed I didn't get around to trying out any really nice restaurants, but we just didn't have the time.
Last night and this morning were really cold and rainy, and I had to spend a bit of time walking around in it. I feel like I might be developing a little bit of a cold, but I will just ignore it and hope it goes away.
The flight back was delayed a little, for what seemed to me an unusual reason. As we left the gate, they must put the plane on a scale some place, because the pilot got on the speaker and stated that the plane was a little over weight, and they were going to have to return to the gate to unload some passengers. Now when I think about it, this makes sense, especially to a destination like Minneapolis, home of the cheese curds and food on a stick. The average weight of the passengers on the plane has to have increased enormously since the time the planes were designed. Even if the amount is 10 pounds per person, that equals over 1000 pounds total, which I imagine could adversely affect the aircraft. They ended up kicking off the people who were initially on stand by, then we went on our way.
Now I would like to give a shout out to HereNT for shoveling my walk, you rock. Also I would like to tell Brooklyn girl that she is freaking hot as hell (if she reads this).
